Pop Culture
Pop Culture or Popular Culture refers to cultural trends/products, which include music, art, movies, television series, and others, accepted by masses during a specific time duration. As there is no specific way to determine the reach of any popular cultural trend or product, popularity of any such product or art piece, pop culture includes any aspect of material culture that is adopted by a majority of the population of a certain society. Cultural forms included in this culture has no negative meaning attached to it.
Just like every aspect of society, the definition of pop culture has evolved significantly since its emergence in the 19th century. In contemporary times, when every piece of media is available on internet, it has become extremely difficult to differentiate between \"high culture\" and pop culture. Nowadays, any cultural product available commercially on the web that has a large viewership or consumption becomes a part of pop culture.
